AN OBSESSIVE Mr Men collector has amassed an
incredible 2,200 pieces of memorabilia and become Little Miss Record
Breaker in the process.
Joanne Black's collection of Mr
Men and Little Miss products was yesterday recognised as the world's
biggest by Guinness World Records.
Ms Black, 26, has spent thousands
of pounds on her love for the characters created by author Roger
Hargreaves and now owns some of the rarest and most valuable
products.

Nuneaton, Warwickshire, often stays up all night to ensure she lands
what she wants on auction websites. She
recently had to move to a bigger house to accommodate her 2,225 toy
treasures - and even dresses her dog, Dolly, in Mr Men baby grows.
Ms Black, whose favourite character is Mr
Silly, said: "I dread to think how many thousands I've spent but its
been worth every penny". |
